Overview

You may buy items listed on the market board via the app. In-app currency is required in addition to gil.

New Features

  • A new search filter has been added for items you have already acquired.
  • A check mark will now appear next to items you have already acquired.

Buying Items

Requires one mog coin or kupo nut.

  1. Select the category of the item you wish to buy.
  2. A list of items for sale in that category will be displayed.
  3. Browse the list and select the item you wish to buy.
  4. Listings will be displayed from lowest to highest price. Select a listing.
    • You may view your transaction history by tapping the icon.
    • Tap the HQ symbol to show only items of high quality.
  5. Once you have confirmed the price, tap the Purchase button.
  6. Buying items on the market board requires in-app currency. Tap Yes to confirm payment and a moogle will purchase the item and deliver it to you.
  7. Once the transaction is complete, the item will be placed in your character's inventory.
    • When purchasing a stackable item that already exists in your inventory, the purchased item will be stacked automatically.

 

Searching by Item Name

You may search for items by name. This is convenient when searching by category yields too many results.

  1. Tap the icon in the top right and enter the name of the item you wish to find.
  2. All items containing that text in their name will be displayed.
  3. Tap your desired item to display available listings.
  4. To cancel the item name search, tap the close icon in the top right of the screen.

 

Search History

Up to twenty of your most recently used search terms will be saved in the app.

Removing Search Terms

Tap the next to a search term to delete it from your history.

To delete all terms from your search history at once, tap "Remove All."

Adjusting the Item List

When viewing the market board, you may apply filters to the item list or change the order in which items are displayed.
 

Filters for Equippable Items

Equippable items may be filtered by job, class, and level. Filters can be toggled with the icon at the bottom of the screen.
 

Filters for Acquired Items

Items that can be acquired and registered to a character, such as minions or orchestrion rolls, may be filtered by their acquisition status. Filters can be toggled with the ✔ icon on the upper right-hand corner of the item list.
 

Sorting Options

Tap the icon in the upper right of the screen to change the sorting order.

Favorites

Up to twenty items can be added to your Favorites list.

Adding Items to Favorites

  1. Search for and select an item you wish to purchase.
  2. Tap the icon.
  3. In the Favorites menu prompt that appears, select your desired purchase price and preference for HQ items.

The "HQ Only" option is unavailable if the selected item cannot be high-quality.

Changing Favorites Options

  1. Select an item that has been added to your Favorites list.
  2. Tap the icon and select Favorites Settings.
  3. In the menu that appears, set your desired purchase price and preference for HQ items.

Removing Favorites

  1. Select an item that has been added to your Favorites list.
  2. Tap the icon and select Remove from Favorites.

Favorites Notifications

It is possible to receive notifications when items on your Favorites list are available for purchase on the market board.

Setting Favorites Notifications

  1. Tap the icon and select Set Notification Time.
  2. Select a desired time frame to receive notifications and tap the Confirm button.
  • Market boards will be checked for items on your Favorites list during the selected time frame. Notifications may be delayed due to server congestion.
  • The markets checked for notifications is based on the current World of your character. Please note it may take time to reflect changes to your current World after using the World Visit System.
  • Markets cannot be checked in the event your character's current World is undergoing maintenance.
  • An active service account for FINAL FANTASY XIV is required to receive notifications.
  • Changes in the status of your service account may delay or prevent notifications from being received.
